A dedicated 3-hour pre-event workshop aims to bridge this knowledge gap. By introducing participants to core concepts such as understanding NASA's open data portals, effective team formation strategies, and the hackathon's ideation process, we can significantly enhance their preparedness and confidence. This workshop will ensure that all participants, regardless of their prior experience, can fully engage and maximize their learning and innovation potential during the main hackathon, ultimately leading to higher quality solutions and a more impactful event.
